08-11-07 After several months of little site activity Webmaster Greg has given the save Phil site an overhaul. The site’s button links have been revised and they layout of all the pages have been standardized. Some changes to the content of the pages have also been made. And remember, save Phil day is in 10 days, get your postal mail ready! J

03-28-07 Save Phil Day 14 – Time to make a difference. The Save Phil movement started with a bang in December 2005, and continued strongly through the summer of 2006. But participation fell off, and while more people join everyday, more give up each day. So the time has come to make a stand. Let’s prove the naysayers wrong and save this show now!

01-01-07 The Next Save Phil Day has been announced. We’ve used it once before, but it’s a good date to use again. That date is January 24th – Ricky/Raviv Ullman’s Birthday. If this movement’s going to work, we need to make this event as big as possible, and that requires that we spend time preparing for it. Over the next couple weeks, it’s up to each and every one of you to prepare for your own part. Start printing flyers now. Start promoting the event online and offline. Start drafting your letters to Disney. Find your envelopes and get them addressed. Send letters to the media before the event, telling them about it. There’s a lot to prepare, which is why we set these events a few weeks in advance.

08-24-06 The last new episode has been shown, but this isn’t the end of the movement. Now that there are no more episodes, more fans will figure out on their own that Phil is in trouble, and they’ll find our movement. It happened with KP, and L&S and it’s already happening now. Also, a lot of people have been asking about “Phil and Keely jr.” – it is NOT a real episode. Some idiot made an imdb page about it (and anyone can make an imdb page) as a sick joke to mess with PotF fans. Other frequently asked questions have also been answered on our new FAQ page.

08-11-06 This is a reminder that Save Phil Day is August 16th (Wednesday). The email petition has been updated with the names of all who have have signed since the last save Phil day. 180 new people have signed – the largest single increase ever! Please check the petition and make sure your name is on it! And if you haven’t signed yet, please do so now and you’ll be included in the next edition.

07-26-06 Long time, no update. There is little news from inside Disney, and while the “save Phil-a-thon” participation was okay, it fell short of being overwhelming. The next Save Phil day, August 16th, needs to be huge. Also, we need your continued donations in order to keep up our online ad campaign. Please give whatever you can give.

05-25-06 The Email Count for Save Phil day 7 is in! Email program uses have increased 59% over Day 6 – great job everyone! If you’ve keep up this participation in the other events (calls, letters, and faxes) we must be getting close. The next Save Phil day is June 18th – spread the word.

05-14-06 Save PotF Day 7 starts in eight days! It’s time to start sending in your paper letters.

04-06-06 We are now running an ad campaign to attract more members to our cause, but we need your help to fund it!. (You can see the ads here.) Please Donate what ever you can, however you can. We have reason to believe that an increase of support of ~40% will get Phil renewed, so it is extremely important that we find new members.

03-29-06 The Save Phil-a-thon went very well. Despite the problems with the email program yesterday, we have set a new record high number of emails sent in a single day. I only hope you all called, faxed, and mailed letters as much as you emailed. That said, Cow Belles seems to have done quite well. For this reason, we’re shifting our campaign focus away from Aly & AJ. From now on the official position is we want more Phil and we’ll work out the Keely issue after we get season three. Remember to watch the new (unaired) Phil episode “Happy Nird-day” this Friday.

03-22-06 The Save Phil-a-thon page has been updated. It is very important that you perform the new Phase 3 as soon as possible! Please mail the postcard at your soonest opportunity. It will only take a few minutes of your time, and it will really help if everyone participates. (International fans: If you can afford to send a postcard by airmail, please do so even though it will take a long time to reach Disney.)

03-15-06 The success or failure of Cow Bells is really important to the future of this movement. The last minute announcement of a contest for it is further proof of how important this movie is to Disney. Therefore, the plans for Save Phil Day have been expanded into a Save Phil-a-Thon modeled after the Save Kim-a-thon of 2005. We have to stand together, if we’re going to save the show. If one of you gives less than 100% I don’t know if we can save the show. Playtime’s over, time to step it up! Full details are at http://savepotf.com/day/ as usual.

03-14-06 Long time, no update. Save Phil Day #5 is coming up in less than two weeks. It will on Saturday March 25th. That’s Aly’s 17th birthday. It’s been a while sense we’ve had an event on a Saturday, so I don’t know if they have anyone answering the phones on Saturday. It may be shorter hours, or you can just leave a message. If necessary, we can continue the event through the weekend and make calls on Monday. Also, we now have a SDS calendar that lists all upcoming events. When you want to know when something is, check here first because it will be updated first and the dates on it are the official ones, even if it contradicts with what’s written on this page.

03-29-06 The Save Phil-a-thon went very well. And despite an error with the email program, it looks like more emails were sent yesterday than in the history of SDS! I hope that you’ve all been calling, faxing, and writing paper letters as well. Preliminary ratings for Cow Belles show it did really good, so we’re now running a totally positive campaign. We want more Phil and that’s all we’re gonna say. And remember to watch the new (unaired) episode “Happy Nird-day” this Friday.

01-29-06 Save Phil Day #3 went very well. We certainly have Disney’s attention now. The next Save Phil Day will be in about a month, so let’s try and make that one even bigger! 12-27-05 Save Phil t-shirts, bumper stickers, ext. are now available from our Save Phil cafe press store! There are more general SDS products here at our SDS Cafe Press store. Most of these products also specifically promote the Save Phil movement as a part of the general SDS movement. The SDS Shop Page also lists all of our cafe press stores and affiliate programs.

12-22-05 We did a great job on yesterday’s save Phil day, keep it up team! I’m also proud to announce our new petitions. First is our “email petition” which is a cross between a traditional online petition and an “offline-petition.” Full details and how to sign it are here. We have also started a old fashioned paper and ink petition! Details are here. The Paper petition is a very powerful tool that KP fans didn’t take advantage of. It will take hard work to get signatures, but that’s what makes it mean so much more than an online petition.
